PURSUANT Yahya bin Mu'adh ar-Razi, the devil does not work, while people are busy with work and various things. In fact, the devil always see people, when people can not see it. Humans are often careless and forget to trap the devil, but he did not forget the people.
Imam al-Ghazali proposed to explain the three ways to combat the attacks of Satan, namely:
# Learning the plot of Satan's tactics or strategies .
# Not paying attention or treatment to the suggestions of the devil . Assume that the incitement and the devil cry like barking dogs. Increasingly fierce and ferocious dogs bark when they are given attention or feedback, but it is much faster to stop barking when we ignore it.
# tongue and heart always mention God.
To learn the tactics and guile of the devil, we must understand and identify differences of doubt, inspiration, inner voice and call passions of human nature of the incident. Doubt is the arrows fired by the devil into the hearts of people and staying in the heart. Doubt also be able to control the conscience whispers or crossing the human mind(refer to how does works). Whisper of conscience can also be influenced by the idea. Inspiration is a mind that is more specific path that is called to the good, comes from God through the angel, while skeptical inner voice that calls to the Evils, comes from the devil. Doubt it full of guile, sometimes calling others to goodness as bait to trap people. For example, the human influence to do devil worship rituals of circumcision and leaving obligatory.
According to al-Ghazali, crossing doubt comes from the devil, who called men to evil. But the idea down from God or angels (with the permission of Allah) who call people to do good. To learn the tactics and deception of Satan, we must understand and identify the difference between doubt, inspiration, inner voice and desires of the nature of the call nature of man.
